Ernesto, an IT specialist with East Lee County High School, and his fiancee Beth with Gartner Group, just closed on their new home using the teacherscanbuyhomes program. Before reaching out to us, Ernesto and Beth had many difficulties obtaining a loan. “We never had a chance to buy a home due to all of our student loans. The banks never would even give us a shot” says Ernesto. After meeting with them both, within 2 days we got them approved for a loan and we started the hunting process. Not only was their loan approved, but they even qualified for for a new construction home. “Only negative to a new construction is the waiting, but in the end, well worth it. As always we have no closing costs, and no fees which helped them obtain their home as well. “Not having to come to closing with the extra $8000 was definitely a big help” says Beth. In the end, we will be donating to the IT department at East Lee County High School’s IT department to “better and improve the school”
