Shelby, a 3rd grade teacher with Patriot Elementary, along with her husband Ryan just closed on their first ever home. The program teaches the teacher how to properly buy a home with no work needed. "We didn't have to worry about a thing. "Ed helped us understand the entire process" says Barker. "As first time home buyers, we knew nothing about the process". Not only does teachers can buy homes educate you on the process, do everything for you, but also do so with no fees, cover your closing costs, and even does a donation in the end to your school. $800 will be donated to Patriot Elementary to fund a "Something special activity for the kids"once school starts up the end of this month.
