Annie, a 4th grade math and science teacher at Heights Elementary, and her husband Justin, a PCT teacher at Colonial Elementary used the Teacherscanbuyhomes program to not only sell their home, but to buy their next as well at the same time. “We were at first overwhelmed how it was going to play out.” says Annie. Especially in a market like we have in 2021 where their was reduced inventory. Using the skills of being in the industry over 20 years, we have the negotiating skills that can make the process streamlined. “We had a fear of being homeless, but Ed used our washer and dryer as a negotiating tool to give us the extra time we needed.” As far as closing costs and fees…NOPE! None! We will be making a donation to Colonial Elementary Math program to help buy the supplies Justin needs that would normally come out of his pocket.
